Cursillo – a strange word, we know, but it simply means a fun, refreshing, informal, course on Christian living. (Informal as in, you can wear sweatpants all weekend.)
Christian retreat for adults – No famous names, just a weekend led by men and women who have been to Cursillo as “candidates” themselves. The main “theme” or “goal” is only to give you time to sit in the grace and truth that we have in our Creator and Savior, Jesus Christ.
When was the last time you took time for yourself? These days are a time for you to strengthen yourself – and therefore strengthen your relationships and faith.
Are you new to Cursillo? Have you been asked by someone to be a “candidate” and trying to decide what to do next?

2) Talk to the person/people who asked you to come – your “Sponsor.”
3) Take a look around this website – you will find some info, but other details are left to be experienced through this weekend.
Once In A Lifetime.
Cursillo is unique – it is made to be experienced only once in a lifetime.
The weekend is full of activity, worship, food, fellowship – and 14 talks given primarily by ordinary men and women, who like you, had once been offered and accepted the invite to attend Cursillo. While four Pastors (or Spiritual Directors) are a part of the team and give four of the talks – 10 of these talks are people of your communities who have stepped forward to share their heart and their journey with you in a way that may encourage growth and reflection.
Men and women have seperate Cursillo weekends, and in the case of married couples, a husband’s weekend scheduled before the wife’s. A participant should be sponsored by someone who has gone through Cursillo themself.
